EDUCATION

Nature's Remedy is in business to help in the conservation and preservation of owls, kestrels, and other wildlife. We also educate people about the dangers of using rodenticides (poison) and how secondary poisoning causes collateral damage to our wildlife and pets

BARN OWLS AND KESTRELS

Being “cavity dwellers” barn owls, as well as kestrels and screech owls, do not build nests. What attracts them to the Owl Barn is a common question I get. The scientific answer is simply this, the entry hole. Unlike plywood nesting boxes, the Owl Barn is basically indestructible and is a lot safer for the resident. Safe habitats are the key component for the conservation of barn owls and kestrels.

Educating people about the dangers of using poisons/rodenticides is also one of our top priorities. Secondary poisoning of our wildlife and pets is more prevalent than most people think. Once they are educated about it they think twice about using rodenticides and look for alternative methods.
